They make absolutely phenomenal companions. They are playful and incredibly sweet. They love to be out of the cage and they are extremely social. They typically do very well with multiple people within the home and are a great family bird. Suns have a very high pitch screech, so a high noise level tolerance is a must.... Ideally, the minimum cage size for this bird would be 25’’ long, 21’’ wide and 29’’ high.
