Unfortunately I have to find a new home for my maxi as after 8 months of living with him and trying to figure out why I feel crappy all the time I’ve realized I’m now allergic to birds... I love him soooo much but unfortunately my health comes first. He is timid to start but will warm up to the right woman with patience. I have found he does not like men. He is not aggressive towards them but he is petrified of them. I have been working on this and other things since I got him.... (read more) Other than that he’s a sweet hesitant little guy and if you listen closely he will say pretty bird and I love you also he came out with a new one a few days ago “thank you” lol. I thank him after every kiss. He comes with a traditional cage and two open cages my husband made. One is small just for bedtime and sits on my dresser and the other one is large and sits on my 4’ long hutch in the living room. He never goes in his traditional cage so we put that away and created these two which he loves. We also have an open full height cage we made but he decided to chew it so we also put that away lol. He loves eating dinner with us and chilling out on my shoulder. He’s very quiet and only calls to the birds out his window maybe once or twice a week. He just had a vet check not long ago and is in good health. I will vet his potential adopters as I want him to go to a good home that’s gonna love him and give him patience and kindness
