Hand-fed Baby Alexandrine Parrots make excellent pets and are believed to have been kept as pets for centuries. In captivity they’re not nearly as common or prolific as their close relative, the Indian Ringneck Parrot. They’re also huge in comparison, measuring 23 to 24 inches from head to the tip of the tail.
