Lovely quiet birds that are perfect for apartments! They are VERY quiet and have a nice sweet song. These belonged to a doctor who passed away; he kept them at his clinic and everybody enjoyed them. We've had them about 4.5 months and feel it's time for them to move on to their new home. Birds bond strongly with their owners and we wanted to ensure they would be over the loss of their owner. They enjoy human companionship & are more active at sunrise and sunset.... (read more) They are nomadic in the wild so they enjoy flying around in captivity and will go back into their cage.
AND they are great fruit and veggie eaters. They can live 30 years; they are 3.5 years old.

We are an BIG EDUCATIONAL and SMALL RESCUE not-for-profit organization in Missouri. We take in birds from single bird homes, improve their diets, socialize them, improve their overall health. This process usually takes 2-3 years. Founder did rainforest photojournalism for years and has had birds since she was 2 years old. We spend 5 hours daily in our 'bird room' cleaning, chopping fresh produce, washing bowls, and loving on these spoiled birds.
