Our adults and babies alike are provided with optimal living conditions through enrichment, avian lighting systems to mimic their natural photoperiod, and nutrition to ensure their well-being and reproductive success. ​ We maintain a strict hygiene regime and employ the use of high-powered exhaust fans and HEPA-filtered air purifiers as well as maintain an isolated quarantine room on an HVAC system separate from our flock for the occasional new bird to enter our program. All of our breeders have been tested clear of common avian diseases and we look to our local avian veterinarian, Pender Exotics, to ensure we are adhering to the latest standards in avian husbandry.  We also offer ongoing support to ensure the long-term health and happiness of your new feathered friend, including recommendations on supplies, diet, and behavior.
