We need to rehome our baby black-headed caique. His hatch date was 7/1/2024, DNA sexed male. We bought him from a reputable breeder to be a companion to our white-bellied caique and our white belly has not been willing to get along with him.

He is a very sweet boy who seems to continue to be interested in making friends with other birds. If our other caique didn’t hate him so much I believe he would have been an excellent companion for him.... (read more) He is very content on perches and loves to sit on your shoulder and snuggle into your neck. He is not as wild as you would expect a caique to be. He is very gentle and doesn't bite; even when he gets excited and beaky he is still gentle.

He will come with his travel cage, the crate where he sleeps, and the perches and toys. We are also happy to provide a small supply of his favorite pellets. He eats fresh food and pellets.
