We need to rehome our baby black-headed caique. His hatch date was 7/1/2024, DNA sexed male. We bought him from a reputable breed to be a companion to our white-bellied caique and our white belly has not been willing to get along with him.

He is a very sweet boy. He is very content on perches and loves to sit on your shoulder and snuggle into your neck. He is not as wild as you would expect a caique to be. He is very gentle and doesn't bite; even when he gets excited and beaky he is still gentle.... (read more)

He will come with his travel cage, the crate where he sleeps, and the perches and toys. We are also happy to provide a small supply of his favorite pellets. He eats fresh food and pellets.
