This lovely pair of red rumps came from a chiropractor in a small town that passed away - he and his staff dearly loved these birds. They lived in a beautiful aviary with Lady Gouldian finches. Both are under 3 years old. They are very quiet and docile. They haven't bred but should have lovely chicks with colors from both parents. Having seen these birds in Australia near a stream, it was splendid to hear their vocalizations. This pair of birds will be well suited for apartment living or sharing large quarters with another pair of very docile birds - do your research and you can have these birds 3 decades!

We are an BIG EDUCATIONAL and SMALL RESCUE not-for-profit organization in Missouri. We take in birds from single bird homes, improve their diets, socialize them, improve their overall health. This process usually takes 2-3 years. Founder did rainforest photojournalism for years and has had birds since she was 2 years old. We spend 5 hours daily in our 'bird room' cleaning, chopping fresh produce, washing bowls, and loving on these spoiled birds.
