Wilson, the Congo African Grey Parrot, is looking for a new perch.  He spent the first 8 years of his life living outside in a carport, so he never learned to talk.  But he has thrived in my home - he whistles, clicks, chirps, rings and makes the quintessential water droplet noises. And he dances like a rockstar!  So even though he doesn't talk, he is a super fun parrot.

He is target trained and knows tricks like the wave, spin and gives kisses.... (read more)   Wilson loves his treats!  Wilson destroys toys like a champ, so make sure you have a toy budget if you want to add him to your flock.

Wilson is 12 years old and is an extremely smart and observant parrot.  He is always paying attention to what is going on in the house, whether that's me, visitors to my home or my other pets.  He loves treats and solves all of those "parrot puzzle toys" in minutes.  He also love yucca toys, mahogany pods and sola toys but is not a fan of thick wood -- thin pine is OK.

He is relatively quiet for a parrot but he is keen to do a lot of whistles, pings and pops!  With that said, he does not approve when I am late with his dinner.  If I am late by 10 minutes, he bangs his beak on a toy or rings his bell to express his displeasure at my tardiness.  He is quite the character!

I am asking $3000 for Wilson.  His extra large (macaw-size) cage and his sleeper cage are also available for an additional $500.  Located in Pittsboro, NC.
