Mateo is a 5 year old Harlequin Macaw. He is very sweet boy who like lots of attention. Likes to ride on the shoulder. He comes with a large cage, a t-perch, and a tree for the patio. Also a steam cleaner comes with him. He needs someone to take the time and commitment to bond with him. Serious inquiries only. My health has become an issue and I may not have many years left. As it is, I cannot take care of him like I used to. Even if I live another ten years, it will be easier for him to bond while he is still fairly young.... (read more) It only took me about a week of working with him to have him trust me. He goes on car rides, walks in the park and around the neighborhood. Truly a companion bird! He makes me so very happy, and believe me it is breaking my heart to do this. However, I must do what it is best for my baby Mateo.
