Gorgeous Masked lovebirds, bonded pair, beautiful plumage. I didn’t get much info on them, told just under 1yr old in April 2024.
Special Birds, Their wings had been clipped when I received them, their wings have never grown back correctly and they can’t really glide or fly at all, they are little cage monkeys and get around just fine with enough toys and perches.
Not tame, the previous owners really tried, but had given up, they’re still startled if you open their cage and try to stay as far away as possible.... (read more) I have never tried or had the heart to handle them while scared.
They might be mules, but I think they are siblings at this point. They had one clutch, all non fertile. I was hoping to try our hand at hobby breeding and hand feeding the species. Wouldn’t try again with this pair.
Regardless, I need someone to take good care of them and let them do their own bird things together. No cage included.
