2 Bonded Lovebirds

We have 2 lovebirds that I am sadly needing to rehome. This was not an easy decision and I’m crying just writing this post.

Peaches and Mango are my 13 year old daughter’s birds. She has started doing sports at school and she just doesn’t have the time to spend with them like she use to. Our main concern is they are not getting enough time out of there cage or human interaction. We will not let them go to just anyone there will be a screening process.... (read more) The new owners will have to be able to give them what we cannot in order for is to let them go. We love them very much and want to make sure they get the best life they deserve.

Peaches is a female and she is about 2 1/2 years old. She was handled and hand fed as a baby so she is very tame. Sweetest bird I’ve ever met. She loves to cuddle and give kisses.

Mango is a male and he isabout 1 1/2 year old. We got him in April for a companion for peaches. He is tame but is still a biter. He will step up on your finger when your getting him out of the cage, he will fly around and land on you but when it’s time to put him back in his cage he can be a little turkey.

They will come with their toys, treats, bird food and they each have their own large cage. I never put them together because I didn’t want them to have babies. They were only let out to play together with supervision. Their cages are side by side so they can talk to each other all day long while we aren’t home. I will not split them up they are buddies and would be so lonely without one another.
