I have a mature Patagonian of an unknown age, sex and origin. I refer to her as a she because I believe she is a female.

This bird is highly hormonal and does not make a good pet unless you're happy with extremely loud screaming, hands off, cage aggression, and unable to talk. She does enjoy human company and enjoys being talked to and hung out with but she would be much happier, in my opinion, with a breeding partner.

I am seeking either a home who understands she is not a good pet quality bird (without a lot of work, anyways) or someone who intends to try and pair her with another Patagonian Conure.... (read more)

She will bite very aggressively in defense of her cage. For a time I had her cage free when I had the ability to due to my previous job, and she actually did pretty good there! I had also done some basic recall training as I'd gotten her for free flight initially but was misled about her tameness, upbringing, age, etc. She is a bit out of my league and has been too complicated to work with (we regress a lot).
