Are you looking for a challenge with a big reward at the end? I might have the bird for you. Mupayyah is a 3 year old Indian Ringneck Parakeet. She is hand tame but is fickle with who she allows to touch her.

Mupa has a big personality and is very smart and curious. If you are looking for a bird to do what you want because they want to make you happy this is NOT your bird. I am looking to rehome her due to some incompatibilities with our life. My son is on the spectrum and the noise level is something that he can no longer tolerate. These are LOUD birds. They are small but the pitch at which they scream will rattle your brain. Mupa says a few things but is not a big talker. When she chooses you as her person she is the most snuggly loving little bird. She loves to snuggle up on my shoulder, climb under my clothes, just sit on my knees asking for scritches.

Rehoming her is heartbreaking. She does not get along with other birds. We have another bird in the house and she consistently tries to attack her. She thinks she is tough shit. She often chases the cats and dogs off the couch and occasionally claims the cat tower as hers and forces the cats to leave. Ideally she needs a home where she is free to fly and explore safely without predators around. I would think a home with another bird that can be separate or a home with her as the only pet would be best.

She is going to require patience and experience. Any interested parties will be heavily vetted and a rehoming fee applies. She will come with her cage, a new set of toys (as well as some old ones), and enough food to get you through the first few weeks.
