Hatched on April 14, 2024.

He is not DNA sexed but has started cooing and chasing the other birds, leading me to believe he is a male. His black ring is very pronounced. Absolutely loves cooing. His coo is very fluttery in comparison to my other doves.

He's a peanut addict as well. He was handfed as a baby. He's a bit skittish with new sounds and surrounding but can be bribed with peanuts. I shake a container with peanuts and he immediately perks up.... (read more) If he sees it on your hand, he will fly over. He can probably be recalled trained because of this. Because of how timid he is though, I haven't given him diapers and would personally not recommend it.

So far, he does not care for cashews, bananas, or green leafy veggies.

He is looking for a loving home with someone who can give him flight time of at least one hour daily. He cannot be clipped. Unlike parrots, doves do not climb or use their feet nearly as much and will need the full usage of his wings to have a good quality of life.
