I have some baby cockatiels for sale. This particular baby is approximately 10 weeks old. The baby is fully weened and doing well. I'm not sure on the sex as I have not done a DNA test on the bird but my guess is that it is a male. She/he is not hand tamed but is slowly adjusting to my hand being in the cage. Since the baby is still young, it should be pretty easy to train if you have the time. Cockatiels are very social birds. They like attention and they like to hang out with you.... (read more) They can be taught a few words but mostly they can mimic a tune or sounds that they hear. The other babies I have are approximately 7 weeks old and are eating on their own. They have progressed to pellets mixed with a small amount of formula. They can be purchased now if your willing to continue with their formula feeling until they are completely eating regular cockatiel food.
