This is "Flash", a Dom Red yellowsided baby boy. Like many dom red chicks, he does have a bald area on his head. In his case, the bald spot reminded me of the shape of lightning, hence the name. It gives him character.
He will be weaned to Zupreem Fruitblend pellets (medium) and mixed veggies and is expected to be able to go home around mid September

Little Flock of Lovebirds and Greencheeks Aviary

Small hobby breeder about 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia PA. I raise primarily greencheek conures in my home, specializing in dilutes, dom reds and turquoise mutations. My birds wean to Zupreem Fruitblend pellets and mixed veggies. From time to time, I also breed peachfaced lovebirds, black cap conures and plum-headed parakeets. Occassionally, I will handfeed and raise a few babies obtained from a friend and mentor, but I generally do not introduce birds to my aviary from other sources. Sorry, I do not ship.
