Adorable baby Hahns Macaw is available to a special forever home. Hahns are the smallest of Macaws and are known in the family of mini macaws. This DNA, disease tested male hatched 6/24/24. He is being handfed and can go to his new home when weaned. I can consider an earlier placement to an experienced handfeeder.

His adoption fee is $3900.

Hahns are emerald green with red shoulders and a dark blue crown when mature.... (read more) He will weigh approximately 5 ounces, or 145 grams, with a length of 12”. So, if you’ve wanted a macaw and don’t have the space for a big one, a mini may be a good choice.

Please read about this species. They are very smart, can mimic speech, bond closely with their owner, and while tiny compared to their bigger cousins, they are still macaws.

Shipping is not available for this baby. He can be picked up from us at our home or at an agreed public location within 30 miles of our home in Zuni, VA.
