I have been keeping and breeding parrots since 1980, primarily eclectus parrots, but also amazons, macaws, cockatoos. Greater vasas, and others on occasion. I am a member of the AFA, ASA, OPA, NAIA and SPBE. I have worked as Legislative VP for bird orgs, and also as President of AFA in the nineties. I have written many articles about parrots and about legislation and regulation to inform people about the ongoing efforts of animal rights to restrict and prevent bird ownership in the US....
