DNA tested, chipped male, 15 yr old Maxi Pionus. He says “ pretty bird”, and loves head scritches. When he wants his head scratched, he poses with his foot under his chin! He’s super adorable. He is very content, and a quiet bird. We have been reduced from our home, to a travel trailer. He is fully flighted, and it’s just not the best environment for him. He is a neat bird, and is in superior health. I bought him in February 2024 from Alabama, and his foot tag says he was born in Florida.... (read more) He has come a long way! I will only sell him to a forever home. He deserves the best. He has zero fear of dogs, and even has landed on my Aussie’s rump! He seems to have zero fear of anything ( except vacuums!) He loves attention but is content to be near you. His feathers are extremely healthy, and he is beautiful. He steps up and loves to be on your finger. He eats Su-preem, and organic pellets from BirdTricks. He loves apples and peanuts for treats, and will eat steamed broccoli. He is a good eater. He travels very well. I let him out of his cage and he sits on top loving the ride. It is heart wrenching to post him, but if I can get someone with a better home; I want the best for him.
We travel between Springfield Or to Weed Ca weekly. I can meet you anywhere near these areas. I can also FaceTime if you’d like to meet him:)
