I am currently hand-raising this quaker baby who should be ready to fly home in mid-August. Quaker parrots are known for their playful, affectionate, and social nature. They are highly intelligent birds that can learn a variety of tricks and some of them might turn out to be great talkers. Quakers make wonderful pets for those who can provide them with the time, attention, and stimulation they need.

This girl was disease tested for PBFD and Polyomavirus.... (read more) She is going to know how to step up and be well-socialized around people and other small and medium bird species when she is ready for a new home. I am weaning her and her siblings onto a healthy diet of organic pellets and vegetable chop.
