Female parakeet is white and male parakeet is yellow/green. The male is super sweet. He does not bite at all and stays on your finger. The female is aggressive and does bite unfortunately. She will come on the finger though, but it is probably best to have a treat in hand. She is calm after taking a bath and will not bite you then. Both sing lightly (not as loud as other parakeets) and enjoy treats such as millet spray & lettuce (they love lettuce!... (read more) ). They have not begun breeding yet as we have other parakeets in the same cage as them. They should be ready to breed once alone and given a nest.
