Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have to rehome 3 of my conures
Pita: Pita is an almost 2 year old maroon bellied conure that I originally got from PetSmart and I have had her for almost 2 years. She hatched on 8/9/22. Pita is shy and more reserved and does not step up unless she has no other option. With a bit of time and patience, she can improve. Pita does however speak and she WILL curse at you.... (read more) She can say little phrases such as “Go chicken go”, “who’s a pretty bird” and little things like that. She does not speak on cue and will just randomly blurt out words. She is an unconfirmed female who is bonded To Romei and I will NOT separate them.
Romei: Romei is a roughly 2 year old pineapple conure that I’ve had for about a year and a half. Romei has a big heart and an even bigger personality. He does not step up but he will gladly fly on your back, head, or arms. He can drink from water bottles and will also steal them from you. He is like a little toddler and loves being with people. He is bonded to Pita and I will NOT separate them.
Tilly: Tilly is an almost 1 year old turquoise conure that I got from Petsmart and hatched 5/1/23. She is very shy and does not know how to step up but is still learning. Because I got her from Petsmart and she was still new there, her wings were still clipped and have not grown back yet. Her tail feathers have grown back and her balance is getting better. I am assuming she is a female but she is not DNA tested.
I will not give them to someone who will clip their wings, does not have experience with birds or conures, or someone who is not able to let them out or give them attention as they need. I will be very picky with who they go to as I want to make sure that they go to the best home possible. Pita and Romei CANNOT be separated at all and I will not rehome them to someone who will separate them later. Please message me with any further questions. Thanks!
