Baby Senegal (Poicephalus senegalus) Available! Senegals are a wonderful size, beautiful in color and huge in personality. They can make great companions for families of all ages. They are typically a bit easier going than some other species. They like to play and can be fairly good talkers if you work with them. They are a great choice for someone who is new to the bird world. Ideally, the minimum cage size for this bird would be 25’’ long, 21’’ wide and 29’’ high with ½’’ wire spacing.... Every hand fed baby is weaned on to a high variety diet. They are weaned onto fruits and veggies, a soak and sprout mix made here in store, high variety seed mix that is also made in store, and naturally colored pellets.
