I have a female, tamed & hand raised mustache parakeet that’s 1.5 years old. She’s very sweet very quiet compared to an Indian Ringneck. I just found out these horrible allergies I’ve been having are from the bird, not mold like I thought & I’m just unable to get it under control. She loves to just sit on your shoulder & be a part of things. She’s fine with kids, just be aware of the signs she gives when she doesn’t like something, like with all parrots.... (read more) She’s not speaking words yet, but she practices. She’s been making sounds I’ve never heard before that sound like sounding out a word.

Included is her $300 cockatoo cage, various food & water dishes, new travel cage, perches, over a month of food & treats. I alternate her toys every few months so she doesn’t get bored & have a box practically new I haven’t rotated in yet. It’s essential she goes to an excellent, loving home that can afford her upkeep & future vet care, hence the rehoming fee. While I do need to find her a new home, the right home is most important. You don’t often see these birds available in this state, I’ve ever only seen 2 for sale, her being the only tamed & hand-raised. They’re still pretty rare in this area & hard to get. I just hate to see her go, she really is a sweetheart & will be a great companion bird for someone living alone or a family. Email & text is the best way to contact.
