Beaky is a WONDERFUL FAMILY PET. He is a 2-year old Black-Headed Caique and DNA male. He is incredibly tame, quite docile (for his species), and very loving and playful. He has been highly-socialized with men, women, dogs, and older children, and does not bite. He loves meeting new people and warms up quickly to them. He likes to chatter and learn new words and phrases. He is completely free-range at home and able to fly around when he pleases. He has no issues being left outside of his cage during the day (even when alone), as he is well-behaved and non-destructive (except for his toys).... (read more) He is potty suit (flight suit) trained, loves spending time outdoors, and knows a few basic commands. He enjoys listening to music, watching tv, and riding around on people's shoulders or simply spending time with them. He lives in a single parrot household but I believe he would do extremely well and enjoy having a companion parrot. He is an amazing pet for any level of bird experience. We have worked extremely hard to only instill good habits with him. He would be a hoot for a person who works from home and that would be an ideal environment for him.
