I have a Dna’d Male, 7 month old blue and macaw, life has changed and I unfortunately can no longer give him the best care that he deserves. (read more) I have spent so much time and money on Tunechi and became very close with him so it’s extremely hard for me to do this but he needs more than what I can provide.

We’ve done “abundance weaning” with him which if not familiar, is where a bird is hand fed until he decides he no longer wants it, it’s not a set schedule or up to the breeder/owner. This has shown to be the number 1 determining factor in a birds life that ensures they will be the most mentally, behaviorally and physically healthy they can be and live the best possible life. He is now fully weaned, able to eat all foods and ready to meet his new flock.
His diet consists of chop/mixed vegetables and fruit in moderation in the mornings and pellets for the rest of the day. He loves his yams lol.

He is extremely tame, cuddly and loving. He is fully target trained, harness trained, started free flight training, recall, cage command, multiple tricks and is doing very well with the potty training.

I also started to build a parrot playground jungle gym for him and just needs to be put together, so will be able to be transported, I will attach a picture of what it will look like.

Also willing to ship to the right home. He was shipped to me and seemed to do quite well. I purchased him from Pet Vous, formerly OurPetStar, out of Florida, they have been breeding parrots for 25 years now since 1998. They’re extremely knowledgeable and know what they’re doing!
