Moxie is a sweet and fun young lady. She is about 7 months old. Moxie will lift up her foot and place it up on your finger and shack hands with you when you say HELLO. She likes to take a bath in her water bowl and under the kitchen sink faucet. She is shy around strangers. But give her 15 to 20 minutes to warm up to a stranger and she is your best friend, and you can't get rid of her. She was hand raised and hand fed. She eats pellets, Volkman seeds, fruits, and vegetables.... (read more) She likes cheese and sour cream as well. Moxie will step up on command or without command. You can roll her over on her backs and she will give kisses. She enjoys flying around checking out the place and then hanging around on your shoulder. Moxie will wait when you open the cage door for you to stick your hand inside and say step up then jump onto your finger. She is just a good all round Caique. Thus far she seems to get along with the other birds like an Amazon and other Caiques younger and older.

I breed and hand raise just White Bellied Caiques. I have bred and hand raised numerous other species of birds since my early 20's. Now in my 60, I enjoy working with just the Caiques. I have other species as pets that I enjoy everyday.
