Mango is a 6 year old white bellied Caique and Pineapple is a 3 year old green cheek conure. They were both hand raised (by me) and are both DNA sexed female. Mango and Pineapple are the sweetest and quietest birds I have ever raised, they rarely ever scream or make any loud noises. Mango can say “Mango”, “Mommy?” And whistle the “Andy Griffith Show” theme song, Pineapple can’t really talk yet but she sometimes mutters to herself in tiny conure speak.... (read more) Mango is also slightly potty trained where when we say “Go potty mango!” And hold her over a sink or trash can she will simply do just that, go potty! We love these birds so so much but I’m preparing for college and they just aren’t getting the attention they need from my parents. Right now they are getting around 5 minutes of attention while moving them from their indoor cage to our aviary outside and we know they deserve more than that. These birds love everyone and almost never bite, although Pineapple likes to playfully chew on you and everything near you including glasses and earrings (seriously be careful she’s already destroyed 2 pairs of glasses). They love baths, millet, apple slices and attention. Pineapple grew up with 2 Quakers but attacked others that she didn’t know so we’re not really sure how they would interact with other birds. They can come with a cage and all toys included if needed. These 2 are absolutely inseparable and they must go together. $4000 for both.
