DEPOSIT RECEIVED. Pending pick up. 4 yo Catalina Hybrid Macaw for rehoming. Believed to be female, but not confirmed. She prefers men. Parents are a Scarlet Macaw and a Blue and Gold Macaw. Mango says many phrases including "I love you" and "Peek-A-Boo" (while turning her head away to hide). She will step up on her terms, but she prefers to hang out on and around her cage all day. She is blind in one eye due to a scratch when she was a chick, but she is fully functional and flies short distances around the house.... (read more) She's fully feathered, but she does acrobatics with her toys which make some of her feathers ruffled. She's used to kids, dogs, and smaller birds.
I'm rehoming her for several reasons, the main one being she deserves a better life. She has never really liked me. She bonded with my ex, but unfortunately he couldn't keep her. I know her person is out there, and I know they will reap the benefits of her companionship.
Local pick up is preferred, but she can also be shipped to your nearest major airport for an additional $200. If local, you are welcome to her large cage.
