We have DNA results on our latest group of babies! There are 4 males and 3 females available. They are now weaned and ready to leave for their forever homes! The earlier they move to their new homes after they wean, the easier it is to get them to bond with you.

Why buy a hand-raised cockatiel versus one from a pet store?... (read more) I know the cost is significantly different, however, my birds are not overbred. Often times pet stores buy from people who breed their birds over and over without regard for the health of their birds. I refuse to do that. Each baby is cared for as I care for my own permanent resident birds. I know these babies from the day they hatch, know their parents, and spend hours a day feeding and socializing them. My hand-fed Cockatiel babies are weaned on a variety of fresh foods, pellets and a little seed.

Price for a baby starts at $400, the rarer mutations will cost more. A $75 non-refundable deposit (goes toward adoption cost) is required to reserve a baby. Those with deposits in get first choice once the gender tests come back on new clutches. Babies are ready for their forever home once they wean on their own time, usually by 12 weeks old.

Shipping Notes

We do not ship. We are located near Columbus Ohio, and will meet in Gahanna or nearby. We will travel farther for an additional fee ($2 per mile), paid up front and meeting place set up at the nearest police department to that location.

Located in central Ohio, we raise hand-fed baby cockatiels. Our daughter began her passion of raising baby cockatiels, and we carried on with her dream after her passing in 2020. Our babies are hand raised, eat primarily a pellet based diet along with fresh vegetables, eggs and seed. Our goal is to provide you with the most loving feathered friend possible.
