Just a family breeder. After a nice 3 egg fall brood through t we'd lay down for the fall. But got one egg, followed a few weeks by another. Didn't put much luck in either born separate, loners and so late in the season. Was really surprised Dec. 14 when Christo showed up. Named it Monty Christo knowing I could switch to Molly Christo. She was less active but weather was cool, but man she was smart. Weaned in four weeks, I had a hunch I had a female, sweetist little birdie I ever hatched.... (read more) Sure nuff, it was Molly Christo, first time I had a newborn who just wanted to hand with with parents. Sweet as a puppy. I have her in a flight suit, but it's much too big. I'll get her a smaller one. She does love to fly. Loves everyone, is completed weaned already to seed, fruit pellets and fruit. She's a doll face that will be a great breeder like her mama when the time comes. You couldn't ask for a healthier, smarter, calmer bird. Photos of are Molly and her Papa.
