Due to circumstances out of my control I have no choice but to find a new home for my birdie. His name is Blake and like the Country singer he loves to hear music. I got Blake weeks after he was born so when I brought him home he was hand fed. DNA Certficate available. He is now 8 month old. The true color of Blake is Violet. This is a rare color within these Parrots/Parakeet. Is a mutation that happens in the wild and it happens on a specific time of the year which means that this color is not easy to find.... (read more) Blake is a special bird. He is super intelligent and loves puzzles. I am looking for some one that really can spend quality time with him as he still in the growing stage so that he can learn new things. He hasn’t talk yet but it can happen at any time as this is the age that they can start talking. These type of birds need to be stimulated with different toys and puzzles. He is very curious so if you have something with you he will probably want to discover what it is. He doesn’t bite but if he feels threaten by something he might defend himself. I guess that is with any animal. He is friendly and gets used to people quickly. He loves to be on your shoulder and go with you anywhere you go in the house. However you need to understand that he will be going to a new home and environment which means that he may be stressed for a couple of days until he gets used to you and his new home. He makes the cutest soft noises, although sometimes when too excited he may be a little bit louder than usual but most of the time is a pleasant sound. He loves to his pool he loves water! His color is consider as a “Purple/ Violet/Bluish color. When in the water it’s amazing to see his feather and tail especially when the sun hits. My favor part is to play with him when in the water. The price includes: Large cage ( because of his long tail he requires to have a large cage to spread his wings and move comfortably) and all his toys. I have spend between $500-$700 and his food) , the food will be included. I recently bought a three floor gym with ladders for him and it still unpacked is brand new it cost me $89. Also included natural wood perches.
Note: The second picture is when he was still more baby. ( I couldn’t find a way to put it first in the picture line). No delivery it will need to be picked up up at my residence or my office.
