I purchased him for $5500 + tax from a pet store in Los Angeles. I also paid over $500 for a very thorough Avian vet exam to make sure he's completely healthy and a DNA sex test to know that he's a boy. I can provide the vet records and the DNA proof of sex. He's only 3 months old and was hand fed. He will still hand feed if he's offered it but he can also eat on his own. He's super sweet, he likes everyone, he will step up on anyone and he's already starting to talk.... (read more) The only reason I am selling him is because my other bird wants to attack him out of jealousy so I'm worried for his safety. Don't let others fool you Amazon's are usually nippy and mean so you want to make sure you get a "hand fed baby" that is still a baby so it will bond with you! If you get an adult it will probably never bond with you! I searched everywhere for a sweet Amazon and I'm sad to have to sell him so my price is firm and scammers will not be tolerated I will only accept cash for in person payment. I'll consider shipping at buyer's expense and will only accept Zelle for long distance payment. I'm happy to video chat or have you come over in person to meet him.
