She was separated from her male breeding partner about a year and a half ago. We rescued her after she started plucking and her owner wasn't sure what to do. She has since grown back most of her feathers and no longer plucks.

Our male IRN is too bonded to me and has no interest in breeding despite her constant signaling. She was only ever used for breeding and because of that has NO desire for human affection.... (read more) She is currently in an open flight system with 5 other birds and LOVES being out of her cage. She does her own thing. Our reason for rehoming her is so that she can thrive with a male who has interest with her to breed, or to find a person who has the patience and time to dedicate to her. She really doesn't ask for much! :)
