***More details:
Vosmaeri's Eclectus sub-specie (Scientific name: Eclectus roratus vosmaeri) Male & Females. EACH adopted separately, Fully weaned or UN-weaned. No difference in price due to gender).
All babies are Vaccinated with the Polyoma Virus Vaccine with a booster a shot 14 days later from 1st initial vaccine at no extra charge; written guarantee and ORIGINAL Invoice & hatch certificates documentation matching leg band ID# provided with every adoption,
Price $3,250.00 partially weaned OR fully weaned; the latter is vigorously recommended for inexperienced buyer, All Eclectus species are quite susceptible to crop complications during weaning process. Partially weaned chicks must be adopted by experienced hand feeders familiar with eclectus species. .
The Vos Maeri sub-specie can grow up to 14" long fully grown at maturity. Males are exceptionally tamed and gregarious with wonderful temperament and can be great talkers as well including females if raised specially hand raised ones and with adequate socialization skills from a very tender age can turn to be just as tamed, raised in the same manner.
The key and secret lays in the hand feeding from a very tender age countless hours of undivided attention is given to each chick has proven for best results...daily patient hours of hours exposed to busy vibrant yet calm human loving environment to be exact until fully weaned and beyond if necessary is the norm.
A suggestion could be as watch on tube for videos of tamed Eclectus sub-species videos to witness the talking ability and awesome Witt ecleteus parrots have.... very long lived feather-heads making a great new family addition to the family. Indeed is a commitment of almost a life-time being a long lived bird if well cared for.
These babies are born and raised in a closed aviary environment.
Few baby birds are raised at the same time for optimum development socialization skills with humans and other pets...parents get periodical vet checked yearly on site and above all, no pair is over bread with back to back breeding perennially for those species.
How's that? Pairs are periodically rotated every three years to receive a good well deserved rest period from breeding to recuperate specially females. Breeding pairs are divided into two groups, one that breeds while other half of the flock rests.
As a tiny family home aviary not a pet store where we produce our own breeders as well as giving professional support our clients 24/7/365 or year round service to clients.
BTW Letters of recommendation available upon request.
We do not buy babies for re-sale!!!....nor are brokers always producing our own born & raised here 100%......, some hatch naturally by parents others artificially incubated and above all tiny breeding facility for Eclectus not nor ever be a baby mill as to 3 babies maximum rarely 4 babies per semester for better and undivided individual attention care yielding the best socialization efforts have a well socialized baby excuse the redundancy.
In every adoption a detailed Invoice/ Hatch certificate will be provided with the parental information as well as hatch date, overall weight, vaccinations, (DNA testing recorded data if applies), artificial incubation history if the chick was artificially incubated including the original egg shell which carries the genetic material as proof of the baby ownership as future identification by genetics lab if so required if bird is lost or stolen and leg band has been removed.
Also with the adoption will provide detailed guides as printed material to follow up as well as video clips for the critical adjusting period of the bird at new loving home, etc not forgetting once again we give 24/7/365 support.
An OPTIONAL at store price in which we do not make a cent with this is full Pre- starter kit for UN-weaned babies or partial pre- kit for fully weaned chicks is provided to continue the same diet specifications so there is a smooth transition into their new future loving home.
