“Kiwi” is 6 years old and is a beautiful bird. She is flighty, but could be tamed down and be a great pet. She will let you hold her once she is out of her cage, and won’t attack you, but she wants to fly off of your hand and back to her cage. She needs work and socializing but is not “mean”. She is missing one of her toes that her sister bit when she was young. We took her to the vet where they amputated her toe, but it does not affect her perching at all.
