Hello! Three baby red-crowned kakariki are being hand-fed New Eden Avian Conservancy. There are two greens and one cinnamon. They should be ready to go to their new homes in late May. Babies will be tame, taught to step up, and weaned onto a healthy diet of seed, vegetables, fruits, and sprouts. Babies will be closed-banded with the year, aviary name, and a unique serial number for identification purposes. Mom is cinnamon turquoise and dad is normal green.... (read more)
