Kakarikis are also known as Red crowned parakeets. They are originally from New Zealand and are becoming extinct in their natural habitat. Kakarikis are great fun and have really entertaining personalities. They are often compared to Caiques. They are curious and Intelligent and are able to learn words and mimic a lot of sounds including songs. They make really cute noises, eat with their "hands", and have beautiful vibrant colors. They are lovable, cuddly, friendly and quiet and perfect for beginners. Please contact me if you are interested, because these birds sell fast.
