Five-month-old Harlequin Macaw. Currently getting one hand-feeding a day. Eating pellets and chop, but not self-sufficient yet. Will be ready to go home once he is weaned. He hatched on August 28th, 2021. He's already weighing 2 1/2 pounds, and will most likely be a large adult.

He will receive a wellness check and microchip on 1/27/2022

For some, this just isn't the right time for them. That's absolutely understandable, and we respect the choice not to bring him into your home if you aren't in a position to provide him with everything he needs to flourish.... (read more) The number of people who have flaked on him is unreal and it's not fair that he meets someone and does really well with them, and then they just disappear.

In light of this, here are the requirements. If you're interested, you must visit him in person and put down a deposit. No deposit, no deal. You must visit multiple times before he can go home. I will not send him home with someone who won't put in the effort to create a bond with him. If he hates you, the deposit is refundable. If you ghost us on him - it is not.
