Kiwi Is a pet only and can not be used for breeding. That is why he is in my care. He was a pet and bought for breeding. Two people of tried and have failed. He is a person bird He will not mate up with a female. It loves to be with a person. So much so I would call him a Velcro Bird. He can get sassy like Caiques do. But just take your figure and rub is beak and so no no and he straightens right him. He will sit with you hot hours and watch TV or crawl down in your lap to be petted.... I breed and hand raise just White Bellied Caiques. I have bred and hand raised numerous other species of birds since my early 20's. Now in my 60, I enjoy working with just the Caiques. I have other species as pets that I enjoy everyday.
